LECTURING ACTIVITY 2022/2023
DBMT LECTURING activities include courses, seminars and workshops SHARED BY the 5 Curricula. Courses are MANDATORY FOR I -and II-year PHD students. A final test will be held for CFU SCORING.
All lessons, unless expressly indicated, will be held in presence with a signature sheet, remote delivery will be guaranteed exclusively for off-site PhD students on the Teams platform "Didattica D.R. in Biotechnology in Translational Medicine" (access code "9dgmim9")

Critical viewing and discussion of “Designing effective scientific presentations” from  Susan McConnell (Stanford University, US) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hp7Id3Yb9XQ&t=23s. How to organize a Power Point presentation. What data is important to present. How not to lose the audience attention. Practice: preparation of a PPT presentation on your experimental work at the beginning and at the end of the course (includes assistance from the Lecturer and involvement of the tutor).

Prepare an abstract for a conference. Writing a manuscript for publication: how to critically organize the results of your research. Practical exercise; drafting of at least one abstract on one's own experimental data (requires assistance from the teacher and involvement of the tutor).

3) The management of the Ethics Committees: knowing the regulation and correctly setting up a study proposal - Doctor ALICE FINOTELLO

The issues for submitting a study to the etichs committee will be explored, from the correct identification of the type of study to the management of the entire authorization and monitoring process.
